NEWPORT — Gov. Paul LePage is meeting with business and community leaders in central Maine for his 14th Capitol for a Day event.

The governor is visiting Penobscot County today. He is making stops at C&L Aerospace in Bangor, a vocational school in Lincoln, Snap Space Solutions in Brewer, PDQ Door in Hampden and the Vic Firth manufacturing plant in Newport.

LePage will end the day at a town-hall style meeting at Nokomis Regional High School, where he and members of his Cabinet will meet with the public from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The governor has been holding Capitol for a Day events in a different county each month since taking office after he revived an old program to bring Maine’s capitol to towns and cities across the state.
