NORTH BERWICK — Deven Goss hit a tiebreaking home run in the fourth inning to give Noble a 2-1 win over Thornton Academy in an SMAA softball game Monday.

Julie Geaumont led off the game with a double and scored the only run for Thornton (5-2).

Goss tied it for Noble (6-1) in the bottom of the first with an RBI single.

Amber Kelly, the winning pitcher, gave up four hits, struck out one and walked none. Geaumont struck out seven, walked one and allowed five hits.

SCARBOROUGH 6, SANFORD 0: Chelsey Damon had a two-run single in the second inning and an RBI single in the fifth to spark the Red Storm (7-0) to the victory over the Redskins (4-4) at Sanford.

Alyssa Williamson pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk.

Dominique Burnham had two RBI and two runs scored.

KENNEBUNK 14, PORTLAND 0: Carinn Burns and Allison King combined on a five-inning no-hitter for the Rams (6-0) against the Bulldogs (1-5) at Kennebunk.

Burns, who pitched the first four innings, also had three hits and three RBI. Hannah King hit a three-run homer.

SOUTH PORTLAND 8: McAULEY 3: Erin Bogdanovich reached bases five times, had three hits and scored three runs to help the Red Riots (5-2) beat the Lions (3-4) at Portland.

Bogdanovich relieved starter Olivia Indorf in the fifth inning and escaped a bases-loaded jam to protect a 4-3 lead.

CHEVERUS 3, WESTBROOK 2: Kelsey Dulac drove in Casey Simpson with the tying run in the bottom of the seventh, and Katie Roy scored on Mollie Thibodeau’s grounder as the Stags (2-5) rallied past the Blue Blazes (3-4) at Portland.

GORHAM 8, DEERING 2: Courtney Burns hit an RBI single in the first inning, then tripled and scored in the third as Gorham (3-3) beat Deering (0-7) at Portland.

BIDDEFORD 3, MARSHWOOD 1: Abbie Paquette allowed just five hits as the Tigers (3-5) beat Marshwood (3-4) at South Berwick.

BONNY EAGLE 10, MASSABESIC 3: Lindsey Howell had a home run and Mikayla Goodale added a triple as the Scots (1-5) defeated the Mustangs (5-3) at Waterboro.

Kassidy Hill led Massabesic with a home run.

LAKE REGION 4, FALMOUTH 3: Winning pitcher Allison Clark tripled and scored the eventual winning run for the Lakers (3-3) against the Yachtsmen (1-4) at Falmouth.

Kristina Morton had three hits for Lake Region.

Elizabeth Walker hit a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh for Falmouth.

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, WELLS 6: Ashley Tinsman had two hits and two RBI to help the Capers (4-2) edge the Warriors (2-5) at Wells.

Meghan Young knocked in two runs for Wells.

GREELY 11, FREEPORT 2: Edith Aromando drove in three runs to help the Rangers (5-1) defeat the Falcons (2-4) at Cumberland.

Greely led 3-2 after four innings, then put together a seven-run rally in the fifth, helped by Mykaela Twitchell’s home run.

Danielle Cimino struck out 13, walked two and surrendered four hits.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 14, YORK 0: Abby Urdway had five RBI as the Patriots (5-1) blanked the Wildcats (1-5) at York.

Steph Greaton pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Anna Knapp had a single, a double and two RBI.

SACOPEE VALLEY 16, BUCKFIELD 0: McKenzie Ross had five RBI to lead the Hawks (4-2) over the Bucks (2-4) in a five-inning game at Buckfield.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 5, WATERVILLE 0: Desiree Benner pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts to give the Panthers (5-1) a win over Waterville (4-4) at Waldoboro.

Abby Maguire drove in two runs and Taylor Simmons had three hits for Medomak Valley.

OXFORD HILLS 12, MT. ARARAT 0: Brianna Martin had two homers and four RBI to power the Vikings (5-2) past the Eagles at Topsham.

Mallory Nelson had two hits for Mt. Ararat.

DEERING 12, BIDDEFORD 8: Veronica Mitchell scored three goals to pace Deering (2-4) to a win over visiting Biddeford (1-4).

The Tigers were led by Shelby Courtois with four goals.

MARSHWOOD 7, CHEVERUS 5: Korinne Bohunsky scored the final two goals as the Hawks (5-1) edged Cheverus (4-2) at South Berwick.

Bohunksy finished with three goals, and Janay Wright had a goal and two assists.

PORTLAND 12, BONNY EAGLE 4: Drew Barry scored four goals and Raechel Allen had three to lead Portland (4-2) over visiting Bonny Eagle (2-4).

SCARBOROUGH 8, MASSABESIC 5: Laura Przybylowicz scored three goals to lead the Red Storm (5-0) over the Mustangs (3-2) at Scarborough.

Kelsey Howard added two goals and an assist.

WESTBROOK 6, SOUTH PORTLAND 3: Jackie Harris scored two goals for the Blue Blazes (2-4) in a win over the Red Riots (2-3) at South Portland.

South Portland got two goals from Ericka Lightner.

KENNEBUNK 11, SANFORD 4: Rose Bryant scored five goals for Kennebunk (4-1) in a win at Sanford (1-5).

BRUNSWICK 18, MORSE 3: Annie Kelly finished with seven goals and an assist, and Dakota Foster added six goals and three assists to lead the Dragons (5-0) past Morse (1-2) at Bath.

MT. ARARAT 16, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3: Rowley Jones and Haley Michaud scored three goals apiece to lead Mt. Ararat (3-2) over Mountain Valley (1-5) at Topsham.
