AUBURN — Just one of the four former Bates College students arrested during an alcohol-fueled campus disturbance two years ago has completed his court-ordered community service.

The men were in court Wednesday to update a judge on their progress.

They were charged with criminal conduct for their role in the May 2010 melee at the Lewiston school that involved hundreds of students. They pleaded guilty in November.

Mark Stehlik said he had completed his required 200 hours of volunteer work.

Samuel Guilford said he had completed just over half of his 200 hours. Kush Mahan and Francis Suozzo had completed 20 hours each.

The Sun Journal reports the judge gave them until November to complete the first 100 hours, and until October 2013 to complete the entire 200 hours.
