GORHAM — Gorham police are searching for a man who robbed the Community Pharmacy at 365 Main St. this morning, a crime remarkably similar to a robbery last month at the same pharmacy.

Police say a man entered the pharmacy at about 8:15 a.m. and handed the pharmacist a note claiming to be armed and demanding oxycodone. The robber was given some medicine and left, disappearing in the neighborhood across the street from the pharmacy, police said. No weapon was shown and nobody was injured.

Police suspect the man had a car waiting nearby.

The man is described as white, 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a green camouflage ball cap and sunglasses.

Police say the case is similar to a robbery at the same pharmacy April 16 and the suspect description is similar also.

Police ask that anyone with information contact investigators at 222-1660.
