ALFRED — The Arundel man accused of killing his infant son appeared in York County Superior Court before Justice John O’Neil this morning and was formally charged with depraved indifference murder.
Gordan Collins-Faunce entered the courtroom accompanied by four York County sheriff’s deputies, two state troopers and two court security officers. Wearing a button-down shirt and khakis Collins-Faunce stood silently. His attorney, Amy Fairfield, did not challenge that police had probable cause to arrest him.
Assistant Attorney General Lisa Marchese asked for a psychological evaluation. Collins-Faunce will continue to be held at York County Jail on $100,000 bail. Marchese said the case will be presented to a grand jury next month to obtain an indictment against Collins-Faunce.
