KENNEBUNK – Abby Hyson scored in the sudden-death third overtime Thursday to give Marshwood a 10-9 victory against Kennebunk in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Tied 4-4 at the half, Rose Bryant gave Kennebunk (4-2) the lead six minutes into the second half with one of her four goals. Ali Bush then made it 6-4.

Marshwood (6-1) then got three straight goals, two from Korinne Bohunsky, to take a 7-6 lead. Bryant scored back-to back goals within a minute as Kennebunk regained an 8-7 lead before Marshwood sent it to overtime.

In the first overtime, Lauren Erico scored for the Rams and Bohunsky tied it at 9-9. After a scoreless second overtime, Hyson put in the winner.

Kennebunk goalie Lizzie Stockbridge made 15 saves.

MASSABESIC 14, GORHAM 6: Heather Everett and Mckayla Cahill scored three goals apiece as the Mustangs (4-2) beat the Rams (4-2) at Waterboro.

Alyssa Gilman and Rayne Whitten each scored twice for Massabesic, which had eight players score.

Kali St. Germain had three goals for Gorham.

DEERING 21, NOBLE 5: Veronica Mitchell had five goals and an assist as the Rams (3-4) beat the Knights (0-7) at North Berwick.

Julianna Salamone added three goals, and Samantha Sivovlos, Anastasia Muca and Austin LeMoult each scored twice for Deering.

Jeanne Stegner and Chandler Waterman had two goals apiece for Noble.

WAYNFLETE 12, GREELY 5: Ella Millard had four goals to lead the Flyers (7-0) past the Rangers (1-5) at Portland.

Sadie Cole scored three times for Waynflete.

SCARBOROUGH 11, CHEVERUS 10: Laura Przybylowicz took a feed and fired home a shot from four meters out with a minute left to lift Scarborough (6-0) over the Stags (4-3) at Portland.

Mary Scott had pulled the Red Storm into a 10-10 tie seconds earlier with the last of her five goals.

YARMOUTH 12, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 5: Claudia Lockwood had four goals to spark the Clippers (2-5) past the visiting Panthers (0-6) at Yarmouth.

Maddie Wood, Jeanna Lowery and Alex Lucas each scored two goals for Yarmouth.

YARMOUTH 17, LAKE REGION 2: Ian Edgecomb had four goals as the Clippers (4-2) downed the Lakers (1-6) at Naples.

Max Watson scored two goals for Yarmouth, which had 13 players score.

MASSABESIC 8, BONNY EAGLE 5: Jake Desrochers and Stephen Chaves each scored twice in the first half to carry the Mustangs (1-6) to a 6-1 lead against Bonny Eagle (4-4) at Waterboro.

Desrochers added a goal in the second half.

GREELY 6, YORK 4: Brendan Trelegan scored twice to lead Greely (5-1) over the Wildcats (4-2) at York.

Paul Witte had a goal and two assists, Brooks Belisle a goal and an assist, and Jack Rotondi and Eric Storey also scored for Greely. Kyle Robinson scored twice, Jared Petruzzella had a goal and an assist, and Dan Langenheim also scored for York.

BASEBALL

MARSHWOOD 7, MASSABESIC 1: Freshman Noah McDaniel had a three-run homer in the third inning to spark the Hawks (7-2) over the Mustangs (2-5) at South Berwick.

Jack Verrill got the win, scattering four hits over four innings. Luke Fernandes struck out six in three innings of relief.

YORK 5, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Tim Connolly and Dan Bock scored on a wild throw to first to give the Wildcats (2-7) a 5-3 sixth-inning lead against the Raiders (4-4) at York.

York had made it 3-3 in the fifth when Adam Bailey doubled home Adam Legg.

SOFTBALL

LAKE REGION 8, WELLS 3: Rachel Wandishin had two hits with two RBI for the Lakers (4-4) against the Warriors (2-6) at Naples.

Abby Craffey scored twice for the Lakers.
