SCARBOROUGH – A South Portland man is in critical condition at Maine Medical Center after his motorcycle crashed off Pleasant Hill Road.
Scarborough Police identified the man as Jonathan Hebert, 26. Maine Medical Center officials said Hebert was being treated in intensive care and Scarborough police said his injuries were considered life-threatening.
Police said the accident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, when Hebert’s motorcycle went off the road. Hebert was the only person involved in the accident.
The crash and its cause are under investigation by Scarborough police, aided by an accident reconstruction specialist from the Maine State Police.
