SCARBOROUGH – Talley Perkins and Lauren Steidl scored four goals each Saturday to lead Cape Elizabeth to an 11-5 victory against Scarborough in a game between undefeated schoolgirl lacrosse teams.

Mary Scott and Laura Przybylowicz scored twice each for Scarborough (6-1) against the Capers (6-0).

SANFORD 9, DEERING 7: Janelle Canon and Autumn Wilkins scored three goals each to lead Sanford (2-6) past Deering (3-5) at Portland.

Maura Densmore scored twice for the Rams, who were tied 5-5 before Sanford scored twice in the final five minutes.

PORTLAND 13, MCAULEY 11: Kylie Dalbec scored five goals and Drew Berry added four for the visiting Bulldogs (6-2), who closed with a 6-2 run to rally past the Lions (1-5) at Portland. Clare McLaughlin scored six goals and Sam Taglia had three for McAuley.

FALMOUTH 17, KENNEBUNK 10: Megan Fortier scored four goals to lead the Yachtsmen (5-1) over Kennebunk (4-3) in Falmouth.

Vanessa Audet, Alex Bernier and Angela Mallis all scored three goals for Falmouth. Rose Bryant had four for the Rams.

MASSABESIC 16, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8: Sam Emmons scored eight goals to lead six scorers for the Mustangs (5-2) against the Panthers (0-7) at Yarmouth.

Katherine Millett had three goals for NYA.

WAYNFLETE 16, CHEVERUS 5: Walker Foehl scored five goals, and Sadie Cole added four goals and four assists as the Flyers (8-0) cruised past the visiting Stags (4-4) at Portland.

Alex Logan led Cheverus with three goals. Meredith Willard scored twice.

SOUTH PORTLAND 8, FREEPORT 5: Lani Edwards had two goals as South Portland (3-3) pulled away from the Falcons (3-3) at Freeport.

Olivia Edwards scored the goal that gave the Red Riots a 4-3 lead with 17:10 remaining.

THORNTON ACADEMY 9, WESTBROOK 3: Courtney O’Brien scored four goals and Amanda Cook added two as the Trojans (5-0) beat the Blue Blazes (2-5) at Westbrook.

Katie Conley scored twice for Westbrook.

SOFTBALL

FALMOUTH 7, FREEPORT 0: Maddie Inlow singled home Jade Bazinet, then was one of the three runners to score on passed balls as the Yachtsmen (4-4) scored four times in the first inning against Freeport (4-5) at Falmouth.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 7, SACOPEE VALLEY 6: Sandy Ricardi hit a fly ball into the left-center gap with the bases loaded in the eighth inning to lift the Patriots (8-1) to a walk-off victory against the Hawks (5-4) at Gray.

Ricardi also hit a three-run triple during a four-run second inning for the Patriots, and Abby Ordway and Lindsay Munley added two hits apiece.

SCARBOROUGH 16, MASSABESIC 0: Alyssa Williamson pitched a five-inning two-hitter with seven strikeouts, and hit a two-run homer for the Red Storm (9-0) against Massabesic (5-5) at Scarborough.

SCARBOROUGH 14, NOBLE 2: Alyssa Williamson hit a three-run homer during a five-run fourth inning, and Erin Giles added a two-run homer to end the game in the sixth as the Red Storm (8-0) beat Noble (6-2) at Scarborough.

Williamson finished with five RBI and three runs.

CHEVERUS 4, WINDHAM 3: Staci Swallow had a pair of hits and drove in the winning run with a two-run single during a three-run fifth inning as the Stags (4-6) rallied past the Eagles (2-7) at Windham.

MASSABESIC 6, GORHAM 5: Regan Adams hit a pair of singles and drove in two runs for the Mustangs (6-5), who scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held off the Rams (3-6) at Gorham.
