BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport police have arrested a wheelchair-bound woman after she allegedly slashed the throat of another woman during an argument outside a local YMCA.

Police have not released the names of those involved in the Sunday night slashing, or the charges filed.

But they tell The Hartford Courant (http://cour.at/K2MxyG ), the two women were arguing over a lighter at about 11 p.m. on State Street, when the woman in the motorized wheelchair pulled a box cutter and cut the other woman’s throat.

The victim was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center where she was treated for her wounds.
