CHELSEA, Mass. — Authorities say a 2-year-old girl who fell an estimated 50 feet from a third-floor window in a Chelsea apartment is expected to survive.
Police think the girl was playing with other children on a bed next to a window on Monday night when she fell and landed in an alley below.
She was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
Police say it appears to be an accident.
Her name was not released.
A 2-year-old girl died last week when she fell from a third-floor window in Fall River.
