Campaign disclosures released Thursday by candidates for the U.S. Senate and House show donations by prominent Mainers in business, politics and the arts.

All candidates for federal office in Maine’s June 12 primary elections were required to file disclosures by the end of Thursday, but many candidates’ full returns had not been posted to the Federal Election Commission’s website by press time.

MaineToday Media asked all of the Senate candidates to send their full reports as soon as they were filed, but only three did: independent Angus King and Republicans William Schneider and Charlie Summers.

By Thursday night, House candidates Jon Courtney and Chellie Pingree had posted pre-primary disclosures.

Those reports cover the period from April 1 to May 23. Several recent “48-hour reports” had also been posted, from Pingree and 2nd District U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud.

Among the candidates who posted, a few prominent names appear in the donor lists:

Angela Adams, designer, $250 to Pingree this period (and $750 overall this election cycle).

Joel Allumbaugh, head of Maine Heritage Policy Center health initiatives, $400 to Courtney.

Shenna Bellows, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Maine, $250 to Pingree.

Eric Cianchette, Portland developer, and his wife, Peggy, together gave $5,000 to Summers.

Eliot Cutler, 2010 independent candidate for governor and his wife, Melanie, together gave the maximum $10,000 to King.

Charlie Gaunce of Central Maine Motors, treasurer of Paul LePage’s Waterville mayoral campaigns, $1,000 to Summers.

Tess Gerritsen, bestselling novelist, $500 to Pingree.

Roger Katz, state senator from Augusta, $500 to Courtney.

Tabitha King, author and wife of Stephen King, $5,000 to Michaud. (Stephen King donated the maximum $5,000 to Michaud earlier in this election cycle.)

Ann and Lauren LePage, wife and daughter of Gov. Paul LePage, together gave $1,500 to Courtney.

David Marden of Marden’s, $250 to Summers.

Daniel O’Leary, CEO of the Quimby Family Foundation, $5,000 to King.

Les Otten, 2010 Republican gubernatorial candidate, $2,500 to Schneider.

Joan Benoit Samuelson, long-distance runner, $250 to King.

David Shaw, founder of Idexx and current head of Black Point Partners, $5,000 to King.

Olympia Snowe, U.S. senator, $2,000 to Courtney via Snowe for Senate.
