MANCHESTER, N.H. – Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley rallied New Hampshire Democrats at the state party convention Saturday by sounding the theme of President Obama’s re-election campaign.

“Move forward and not back,” said O’Malley, chairman of the Democratic Governors’ Association. He spoke to the Democratic convention in Maine after he appeared here.

Delegates from all 10 New Hampshire counties gathered at Manchester Memorial High School for the convention.

In nearby Bedford, Republicans opened a campaign field office for Mitt Romney.
