CLINTON — Two bridges were closed Monday morning due to high water, according to a news release from Town Manager Aaron Chrostowsky.
On Hinckley Road, the Bean Bridge over Beaver Brook was closed. On combined routes 11 and 100, the Cain Bridge over 12-Mile Stream was also closed.
“Both state and local officials will be monitoring the river conditions,” the release states. “When conditions improve and the bridges are inspected, the bridges will re-open.”
The Maine Department of Transportation made the decision to close the bridges, according to the release.
