INDIANA, Pa. — A western Pennsylvania man is charged with killing his two young daughters and his estranged wife.
Police say Lewis Beatty cut the throats of 6-year-old daughter Sara and 11-year-old daughter Amanda in his South Mahoning Township home before setting it on fire Friday night.
Authorities say Beatty also killed his 33-year-old estranged wife, Christine, at her home 10 miles away in East Mahoning and set her mobile home on fire.
Beatty is being held in the county jail.
Police and Indiana County District Attorney Pat Dougherty are planning to release additional details on Monday.
