AUGUSTA — Secretary of State Charlie Summers says the deadline to request an absentee ballot for the June 12 primaries is Thursday.
Voters must request absentee ballots by the close of business on the Thursday before an election. After that deadline, voters may request an absentee ballot only if they complete a Special Circumstances Application.
The deadline for returning voted absentee ballots is 8 p.m. on Election Day, June 12.
