KENNEBUNK – Clayton Spang had three goals and an assist Saturday to lead second-seeded Kennebunk to a 9-3 victory against third-ranked Marshwood in a Western Class A schoolboy lacrosse semifinal.

Blake Dowe added two goals and an assist, and Harrison Hall also scored twice for the Rams (11-3) against the Hawks (11-3).

SCARBOROUGH 7, THORNTON ACADEMY 1: John Wheeler collected three goals and an assist, and Andrew Jones added two goals and one assist as the top-seeded Red Storm (12-1) pulled away from the fourth-ranked Trojans (10-4) in a Western Class A semifinal at Scarborough.

Ryan Pallotta also scored two goals for Scarborough, which led 2-1 going into the fourth quarter.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 7, ST. DOMINIC 6: Matt Hawkins scored what proved to be the winning goal with 4:12 left as the fourth-seeded Panthers (8-6) held off the top-ranked Saints (12-1) in an Eastern Class B semifinal at Auburn.

Forrest Milburn finished with two goals for NYA.

CAPE ELIZABETH 12, GREELY 1: Alex Bornick had five goals and an assist as the top-ranked Capers (12-1) cruised past the fourth-seeded Rangers (7-5) in a Western Class B semifinal at Cape Elizabeth.

YARMOUTH 10, GARDINER 0: Max Watson had three goals and an assist, and Anders Overhaug added two goals as the third-seeded Clippers (9-5) beat the second-ranked Tigers (12-2) in an Eastern Class B semifinal at Gardiner.

SCARBOROUGH 16, KENNEBUNK 6: Laura Przybylowicz had five goals and an assist to lead the top-ranked Red Storm (13-1) past the fourth-seeded Rams (8-6) in a Western Class A semifinal at Scarborough.

FREEPORT 16, GARDINER 4: Jess Hench had four goals and two assists for the top-ranked Falcons (7-6) in an Eastern Class B semifinal against the fifth-seeded Tigers (2-12) at Freeport.

CAPE ELIZABETH 18, GREELY 8: Lauren Steidl finished with seven goals and three assists for the top-ranked Capers (13-0), who pulled away from the fourth-seeded Rangers (7-7) in the second half of a Western Class B semifinal at Cape Elizabeth.

YARMOUTH 17, MORSE 4: Grace O’Donnell scored six goals, and Erica Pierce and Jeanna Lowery added three goals apiece as the second-ranked Clippers (7-6) cruised past the third-seeded Shipbuilders (4-9) in an Eastern Class B semifinal at Yarmouth.

MARSHWOOD 3, MASSABESIC 2: Freshman Korinne Bohunsky scored two consecutive goals in the second half to lift the third-seeded Hawks (11-3) over the second-ranked Mustangs (11-3) in a Western Class A semifinal at Waterboro.

CHEVERUS 10, MESSALONSKEE 9: Sadie Lyons collected four goals and one assist, and Meredith Willard scored three goals as the sixth-seeded Stags (9-5) held off the seventh-ranked Eagles (8-6) in an Eastern Class A semifinal at Portland.

OLD TOWN 5, OCEANSIDE 2: The fifth-seeded Coyotes (15-4) erased a 2-0 deficit with three runs in the fifth inning and ousted the top-ranked Mariners (17-1) in an Eastern Class B semifinal at Thomaston.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Maggie McConkey hit an RBI single to tie the game and Maddie Pearson scored the winning run on a passed ball as the top-seeded Raiders (17-1) scored twice in the seventh inning to rally past the fifth-ranked Patriots (14-5) in a Western Class B semifinal at Fryeburg.
