AUGUSTA — Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Benjamin Pollard says he’s filed a campaign finance report that was due May 31.

Pollard, one of four Democrats seeking their party’s nomination for the open seat in next Tuesday’s primary, says he filed his report Saturday. It shows $400 in contributions and $530 spent through May 23.

The Federal Election Commission said on Friday that Pollard had failed to file a 12-day pre-primary election report.

Pollard acknowledged Friday he had failed to file, but said he would try to fill out the report Saturday.

Six Republicans are also running for the seat.
