FCBL: Down 3-1 in the second inning, the Brockton Rox (9-10) used a 6-0 run to pull away from the Raging Tide (7-12) in an 8-4 win at Old Orchard.
For the Tide, Michael Romano gave up three hits with two strikeouts over four innings. Grayson Porter led Old Orchard with three hits, two RBI and one run scored.
LEGION: Damon Wallace hit a triple and Alex Yankowsky had a two-run double as Moody’s (4-4) scored three in the sixth in a 5-3 win over Yarmouth (6-2) at Gorham.
Nick Greatorex pitched a six-hitter with four walks and one strikeout. Cole Harrison and Nick Cartmell each had an RBI double for Yarmouth.
JUNIOR LEGION: Logan McCarthy hit two singles and two RBI as Bruno’s (7-1) took advantage of nine walks, three errors and two wild pitches to score 11 in the first two innings in a 14-3 win over OA Yarmouth (5-4).
Ryan Ruhlin pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts. Bobby Lajoie hit two singles.
