The Betty Blakeman Memorial Tennis Tournament will be played Friday through Sunday at the Yarmouth High School courts and other area sites. The tournament features play in men’s and women’s open singles and doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s 55-and-over singles and doubles. Registration is open for the Maine Games/Lobster Bowl Punt, Pass & Kick competition. To preregister for the free event, which is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15, visit www.nflppk.com and use the zip code 04005 to find the competition. The event will be held Saturday at Waterhouse Field in Biddeford. Check-in starts at 8 a.m., and competition begins at 9. Proof of date of birth must be presented, and a parental/guardian waiver form must be signed before participation.
