YARMOUTH – Ben Decker scored the tying goal on a penalty kick with 7:30 remaining as Yarmouth opened its boys’ soccer with a 2-2 draw at North Yarmouth Academy.

Wesley Bright scored twice in the first 21 minutes to give NYA a 2-0 lead. Oliver Silverson assisted on both goals.

Tom Sullivan got Yarmouth on the board with 5:35 left in the first half, with an assist from Decker.

Austin Kidder made 10 saves for NYA. Andrew Fochler had nine saves for Yarmouth.

FALMOUTH 1, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: J.P. White dribbled in from midfield, beat two defenders and drilled the ball into the right corner with 8:01 left to give the Yachtsmen a win at Falmouth.

Falmouth keeper Will D’Agostino made four saves. Cape’s Brett Parker had six saves.

TRAIP ACADEMY 3, FREEPORT 2: Brandon Metivier scored the go-ahead goal on a broken play with 2:09 left as the Rangers nipped the Falcons at Freeport.

Conor Dietrich scored for Freeport 7:26 into the match. Ralph Humiston tied it midway through the half when his corner kick found the net.

Freeport’s Zach Merrill and Traip’s Evan Pereira traded goals early in the second half.

CHEVERUS 3, SANFORD 1: Christian Verrault, Elijah Yeboah and Zach Poulin scored and Charlie Mull made three saves as the Stags downed the Spartans at Portland.

Evyn Nolette scored and Jimmy Parks made 14 saves for Sanford.

THORNTON ACADEMY 2, BONNY EAGLE 0: Darius Nytacyo set up one goal and scored another as the Trojans downed the Scots at Saco.

Aaron Sinclair opening the scoring six minutes into the game. Nytacyo made it 2-0 at 17:58 on an assist from Devon Verville.

Zack Lombard made three saves for the Trojans. Bonny Eagle keeper Jeff Martin finished with six saves.

MARSHWOOD 1, KENNEBUNK 0: Evan Leavitt scored from Drew Hale with 7:40 remaining to lift the Hawks over the Rams at South Berwick.

Marshwood’s Matt Brenner and Kennebunk’s John Burns each made eight saves.

NOBLE 5, BIDDEFORD 0: Jake Emard scored twice and Sean Jackson collected a goal and two assists as the Knights beat the Tigers at North Berwick.

Josh Emard and Brandon Vigneault added a goal apiece for Noble, which led 3-0 at halftime.

GORHAM 10, WESTBROOK 1: Connor Reagan and Spence Cowand got two goals apiece as the Rams cruised to a win over the Blue Blazes at Gorham.

Cody Elliott, Nate Roberts and Caleb Dolloff each scored their first varsity goal.

Luther Williams scored for Westbrook.

WAYNFLETE 7, WELLS 0: Paul Runyambo had a pair of goals to help the Flyers beat the Warriors at Wells.

Elyse Bayizere, Max Belleau, Jack Cutler, Mohammed Suja and Willy Burdick also scored.

Waynflete goalie Zander Majercik made three saves. Tyler Lamb had 16 saves for Wells.

GREELY 9, LAKE REGION 0: Ted Hart scored three goals, and Nick Shain had two goals and two assists as the Rangers beat the Lakers at Cumberland.

Liam Campbell added a goal and an assist, and Mitchel Donovan had two assists. Elijah Leverett made three saves for the shutout.

BRUNSWICK 5, OXFORD HILLS 0: Konnor Scarponi had two goals and two assists for the Dragons at Brunswick.

Cameron Glover, Ryan Black and Blake Gordon rounded out the scoring. Greg Walton made six saves for the shutout.

Oxford Hills goalie Jake Beauchesne stopped 11 shots.

MT. VIEW 2, MCI 1: Kyle Turner scored with 1:37 left to give the Mustangs a win over the Huskies at Pittsfield.

MCI took the lead 11:46 into the second half on a goal by Will Cu. Bryan Jungels tied it off a feed from Lorenzo Milani with 7:42 remaining.
