YORK – Willy Bennett and Nick Schilling scored two goals each Thursday to lead York to an 8-0 victory against Traip Academy in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy soccer game.

Mitchell Hickey added a goal and an assist for York (2-0), and Theo Bullock, Andrew Young and Fran Mendoza each scored one goal against the Rangers (1-1).

KENNEBUNK 1, SANFORD 0: Sam Whalen headed in a cross from Dany Reyes-Caballero after 10 minutes of the second half as the Rams (2-1) edged the Spartans (0-2) at Kennebunk.

John Burns made four saves to record the shutout. Tyler Burgess finished with nine saves for Sanford.

CHEVERUS 3, BONNY EAGLE 0: Jamie Biegel, Elijah Yeboah and Colin Grove scored in the final 20 minutes as the Stags (3-0) beat the Scots (0-2) at Standish.

Charlie Mull made three saves to record the shutout. Jeff Martin finished with 16 saves for Bonny Eagle.

THORNTON ACADEMY 2, MARSHWOOD 1: Brandon Lasante scored with two minutes left in the first half and Eric Gooch got the winner with three minutes left in the game as the Golden Trojans (2-0) rallied past the Hawks (1-2) at South Berwick.

Marshwood opened the scoring off a corner kick seven minutes into the game on a header by Max McCoomb.

MASSABESIC 2, WESTBROOK 1: Surafel Zunser and Dawson Renaud scored as the Mustangs (1-1-1) built a 2-0 lead and held off the Blue Blazes (0-2) at Waterboro.

Westbrook cut it to 2-1 on a second-half goal by Owen Gillis.

Andrew Wicklund made eight saves for Massabesic. Austin Blake of Westbrook had 12.

WINDHAM 2, NOBLE 1: Marc Reynolds scored on a header off a pass from Christian Hewitt with just under six minutes left to help the Eagles (2-1) beat the Knights (1-1) at North Berwick.

Windham opened the scoring late in the first half when Reynolds assisted on a goal by Damian Cummings.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Jake Street scored his second goal of the game with one minute left to break a 2-2 tie and lift the Patriots (2-1) over the Raiders (0-2) at Fryeburg.

Jack Martell also scored for Gray-New Gloucester. Hideaki Nakamura had both goals for Fryeburg.
