Huskies Youth Hockey will host a free Learn To Play Hockey Day from 12:10 to 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at USM Ice Arena in Gorham. Children of all ages are welcome. Come meet Portland Pirates players and the team mascot, Crackers. Bring your own skates and a hockey or bike helmet; full hockey equipment is not required. Willowbrook Village will host a benefit golf tournament at Province Lake Golf Course in Parsonsfield on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9.
