LEWISTON – The free concert by folk-blues singer Mirel Wagner scheduled for Wednesday night at Bates College in Lewiston has been cancelled.
Bates officials said they learned Wednesday morning that Wagner has canceled the remainder of her North American tour, but do not know the reasons. She had been scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Keigwin Amphitheater at Lake Andrews, adjacent to the Olin Arts Center, 75 Russell St.
The show was to be free.
