BOOTHBAY – Nicole Pelletier and Shanay Gilbert each had two goals and an assist Thursday as the Hall-Dale field hockey team beat Boothbay Region 4-2 to earn its first Mountain Valley Conference victory of the season.
Lexi Moran added an assist for the Bulldogs, who started the season with four losses.
Sarah Caron and Arden McSwain each had a goal for Boothbay (1-5).
Hannah Perry made 14 saves for the Bulldogs.
Meghan Oakes came up with three saves for Boothbay Region.
CONY 3, BRUNSWICK 1: Arika Brochu had a goal and two assists as the Rams (2-2-1) beat the Dragons (0-3-1) in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game at Brunswick.
Jenna Harwood added a goal and an assist for Cony. Kevie Rodrigue stopped one shot to earn the win.
Sydney Esco had 14 saves and Hannah Bobker scored the goal for Brunswick.
