GRAY – Caitlin Bucksbaum, Julia Spugnardi and Alex Bernier scored Saturday to help Falmouth to a 3-1 victory against Gray-New Gloucester in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game.

Taylor Darnell scored for Gray-New Gloucester.

Caroline Lucas made three saves for the Yachtsmen (5-0); Sam Wilkins had 14 for the Patriots (2-3).

SANFORD 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Allison Legere scored twice to power Sanford (5-0) past the Red Riots (1-4) at South Portland.

Chandler Littlefield also scored for the Spartans, and Abby Letourneau scored for South Portland.

Kellie Tobey had seven saves for Sanford and Emma Russell six for the Riots.

WINDHAM 4, MARSHWOOD 0: Ciera Berthiaume had two goals and an assist as the Eagles (5-0) downed the Hawks (0-4-1) at Windham.

Melissa Morton and Jordan Symonds also scored.

Macy Morrison made 20 saves for Marshwood.

BIDDEFORD 3, BONNY EAGLE 2: Deidra Doyon scored with eight minutes to play as the Tigers (3-2) edged the Scots (1-5) at Standish.

After a scoreless first half, Sam Campobasso scored for Bonny Eagle, but Biddeford answered with consecutive goals by Maddy Janelle and Taylor Cadlec. Haley Thorne then tied it for Bonny Eagle before Doyon got the winner.

Kelsey Parkin recorded nine saves for the Scots. Olivia Curtis turned away eight shots for Biddeford.

WINSLOW 2, MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 0: Autumn Poulin and Calli Lavarnway scored as the Black Raiders (4-2) beat the Huskies (1-5) at Winslow.

Devin Fitzgibbons added an assist and Hillary Libby made 15 saves for Winslow.

MT. VIEW 1, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: Mikell Grant scored with 6:27 left in regulation to help Mt. View rally from a 1-0 deficit and earn the tie at Thorndike.

Camille Lazarri gave Lincoln Academy a 1-0 lead with 11:28 left in the second half.

Logan Basford had three saves for Mt. View.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, OXFORD HILLS 0: Jade Canak and Bridget Humphrey each scored two goals to lead the Eagles (3-2-1) past Oxford Hills (0-4-1) at South China.

Canak scored her goals in the first half, and Humphrey scored in the second.

Kelly McCormac had two assists.

MT. ARARAT 5, BREWER 0: Madison Prescott had four goals to power the Eagles (4-1) past the Witches (0-5) at Brewer.

Libby Ouellette scored on a penalty kick.

Glory Watson made 16 saves for Brewer.

LEWISTON 1, SKOWHEGAN 1: Kyleigh Letourneau scored from Cassie Regner 12 minutes into the second half for the Blue Devils (0-4-2), but Kaitlyn Therriault tied it for the Indians (1-4-1) on a penalty kick with 3:55 left in regulation at Lewiston.

Andrea Quirion made 17 saves for Skowhegan; Lexie Jiminez had five saves for the Devils.

MORSE 2, LEAVITT 0: Morgan Cram scored on a free kick and Bess Howell converted a penalty kick to lift the Shipbuilders (3-1) over the Hornets (2-4) at Turner.

YORK 1, GREELY 0: Kayla Swasey’s shot from 35 yards flew just above the goalie’s outstretched hands and skimmed the bottom of the crossbar before dropping into the net after two minutes of the second half, and the Wildcats (3-1-1) went on to beat Greely (2-2) at York.

Maddie Patten of York and Caton Beaulieu of the Rangers made six saves each.

GARDINER 5, BELFAST 2: Ally Day had three goals and an assist to lead Gardiner (5-1) past the Lions (2-4) at Belfast. Morgan Carver added two goals for Gardiner.

SCARBOROUGH 3, MT. DESERT 2: Lauren Piper had 32 assists, 11 service points and nine digs as the Red Storm (3-1) beat the Trojans (2-3) in five sets at Scarborough, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16, 20-25, 16-14.

Mary Cleary had 13 kills and three blocks, and Kayla Savage added 11 kills and 22 service points for Scarborough.

Deandra Kanu had 10 kills, and Abby Jewett added six kills, 15 digs, and an ace for Mt. Desert.
