John Schnauck joined Winxnet as vice president and general manager for its Southern New England Region. Schnauck previously served as vice president and general manager at Pulse-Learning.

Kristina Wiles has returned to Winxnet in a new role as an assistant for its portfolio accounts team.

Judi Hawkes joined Mercy Health System as vice president of physician practices. Hawkes of Cumberland was previously with Maine General Health in Augusta, where she was vice president of practice management. She has 27 years of experience in the health care field.

Melanie E.S. Cogan joined the Cancer Care Center in Sanford as a nurse practitioner.

Cogan has been with Maine Center for Cancer Medicine at its location in Scarborough since 2007.

Ted Murray, Oksana Shevchuk and Rachael Siegfriedt were hired as staff accountants at BerryDunn.

Siegfriedt previously held a tax and audit internship at the firm. Shevchuk previously worked for Berry Talbot Royer in Falmouth. Murray was previously an accounting intern at R. H. Foster.

PROMOTIONS

Adam J. Soule was recently promoted to president and general manager of A-BEST Window. Soule of South Portland rejoined A-BEST Window in 2010 after working for the company from 1999 to 2005. He previously worked for athenahealth in Watertown, Mass.

Robert D. Westhoven was promoted to vice president, small business relationship manager II at TD Bank in Auburn. Westhoven of Auburn has 12 years of banking experience. He joined TD Bank in 2000 and recently served as a merchant services representative in Lewiston and small business relationship manager in Auburn.

Victoria Hart recently completed extensive training in Zurich, Switzerland, as an analytical psychologist. Hart has finished the six years of training in addition to her earlier education in psychology. Her Damariscotta practice is now open.

Southern Maine Pediatric Dentistry has expanded and moved its offices to 1601 Congress St. in Portland.

Sanford Institution for Savings recently hired Davis Advertising of Worcester, Mass., as its agency of record.

•  Drew Anderson, managing partner of the Portland-based law firm Murray, Plumb & Murray, was chosen for inclusion in Chambers 2012 USA Guide for real estate law in Maine. Anderson is a director at Murray, Plumb & Murray. He joined the firm in 1990.

AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS

• Nathan H. Smith, a lawyer at Bernstein Shur and a member of the firm’s real estate and energy law practice groups, was honored with the United Way of Greater Portland’s 2012 Meg Baxter Legacy Award. Smith was recognized for his three decades of outstanding service and leadership in the community. Smith has served as Portland mayor and city councilor, president of the board of United Way, president and co-founder of Portland Trails and president of the Portland Public Library’s board of trustees.
