WINDHAM – Jackie Guillemette scored on an assist from Hannah Patch two minutes into overtime to lift Massabesic to a 1-0 win over Windham in a Southwestern Maine Activities Association field hockey game Monday.

Abby Greenleaf made seven saves for the shutout as Massabesic improved to 6-1. Andrea Feeney stopped eight shots for Windham (1-6).

 

BIDDEFORD 1, NOBLE 1: Mariah Howard took two shots before Katie Taylor knocked in the rebound with 2:14 remaining in regulation as Noble (1-5-1) earned a draw against Biddeford (2-3-2) at North Berwick.

Taylor Turgeon scored for Biddeford. Abbie Paquette had an assist.

Nikita Naumowicz made 12 saves for Noble.

SCARBOROUGH 4, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Maddy Dobecki scored a pair of goals to pace the Red Storm (7-0) to a win over the Red Riots (1-6) at South Portland.

Katie Granzier and Sarah Huber added a goal apiece for Scarborough, which led 3-0 at halftime. Carly McLellen recorded the shutout.

South Portland goalie Lani Edwards finished with 10 saves.

 

SANFORD 7, MCAULEY 0: Caroline L’Heureux scored four goals, and Janelle Cannon added a goal and an assist as the Spartans (6-2) cruised to a win over the Lions (0-8) at Portland.

Jenna Pepin and Casey Bucklin also scored. Taylor Zuk made one save in the first half, and Sarah Goldthwaite didn’t face a shot in the second half.

Akech Alloding finished with 24 saves for McAuley.

BOYS’ SOCCER

DEERING 3, WESTBROOK 1: David Bujamabi and Stephen Orchan scored on shots from about 30 yards out, and the Rams (2-2-1) also took advantage of an own goal in a win over the Blue Blazes (0-5) at Westbrook.

Owen Gillis scored for Westbrook in the second half, with an assist from Conner Richardson.

Anthony Russo made five saves for Deering. Austin Blake stopped six shots for Westbrook.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

HALL-DALE 5, WINTHROP 1: Maura Stottler scored her third goal of the game on a penalty kick with 11:17 left in regulation as the Bulldogs (3-2-1) downed the Ramblers (1-7-1) at Winthrop.

Clio Barr and Dani Sweet also scored goals, and Lilly Ly and Eva Shepherd each added an assist for Hall-Dale, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Winthrop cut the deficit to 3-1 on a goal by Amber Pritchard midway through the second half.

 

MADISON 2, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Kayla Peff and Sam Bruce scored to lift the Bulldogs (3-4) to an MVC win over the Falcons (1-7) in Madison.

Kianna Libby and Emily Oliver assisted on the goals, and Savanna Kandiko made four saves to earn the shutout.
