FALMOUTH — Caitlin Bucksbaum scored two goals Tuesday night to propel undefeated Falmouth to a 3-0 victory against Freeport in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game.

Tyler Spence added a goal and Megan Miller had a pair of assists for Falmouth (6-0).

Aubrey Pennell had 12 saves for Freeport (3-3).

 

RANGELEY 9, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Taylor Esty had four goals and Jenney Abbot scored three as the Lakers (2-2) shut out the Lions (0-4) at South Portland.

Victoria Letarte and Michaela Shorey also scored.

GREELY 2, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Julia Mitiguy and Mary Morrison scored as the Rangers (3-2) shut out the Raiders (0-6) at Cumberland.

 

YORK 4, LAKE REGION 1: Kayla Swasey scored three straight goals for the Wildcats (4-1-1), who rallied from an early deficit against the Lakers (1-2-1) at Naples.

Amanda Lillie also scored for York, which led 2-1 at halftime.

Cece Hancock gave Lake Region a 1-0 lead.

MASSABESIC 4, MARSHWOOD 0: Heather Everett and Roshelle Morrison had first-half goals, and Jordan Bantz and Hannah Sleight scored in the second half as the Mustangs (3-3) beat Marshwood (0-5-1) at Waterboro.

Macy Morrison needed six saves for the shutout. Gemma Lundrigan totaled 10 saves for Massabesic.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 4, MCAULEY 3: Erika Lughtner scored three goals as the Red Riots (1-4) edged the Lions (0-5) at Portland.

Tied 3-3 with under two minutes to play, Jenna Wing scored the winner.

Ayla Tartre had a pair of goals and Sarah Clement also scored for McAuley.

Molly Miller recorded 25 saves for McAuley. Emma Russell turned away 11 shots for South Portland.

 

SCARBOROUGH 5, KENNEBUNK 0: Taylor LeBorgne scored a pair of goals to lead the Red Storm (6-0) over the Rams (0-5-1) at Scarborough.

Sam Sparda, Jessica Meader and Kate Daniels also scored for Scarborough, which led 2-0 at halftime.

THORNTON ACADEMY 9, NOBLE 1: Amanda Arnold scored four goals, three in the first half, as Thornton Academy (6-0) downed Noble (1-5) at North Berwick.

Tori Daigle added two goals and three assists, and Courtney O’Brien, Haley DeGraca and Allie Coburn also scored for the Golden Trojans.

Noble scored 5:16 into the second half when a corner kick deflected off a defender, allowing Gabby Hanson to boot it in from 7 yards.

 

LAWRENCE 2, MT. ARARAT 1: Marissa Paquette scored with 35 seconds left in the first overtime to lead the Bulldogs (4-2-1) past the Eagles (4-2) at Topsham.

After Ali Tozier scored for Lawrence, Madison Prescott tied it from Christine Levesque.

Paige Belanger made seven saves for the Bulldogs. Lauren Williams stopped six shots for Mt. Ararat.

 

WAYNFLETE 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Arianna Giguere scored in the first half and Walker Foehl in the second to lift the Flyers (4-0-1) over the Hawks (2-3-1) at South Hiram.

 

GORHAM 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Meghan Cushing scored twice, and Kali St. Germain added a goal and two assists as the Rams (4-2) downed the Scots (1-6) at Gorham.

Kate Hopkins and Emily Deluca scored one goal apiece, Marissa Roberts stopped all seven shots she faced to record the shutout.

Ivory McDonough finished with 22 saves for Bonny Eagle.

 

MEDOMAK VALLEY 0, MARANACOOK 0: Elizabeth D’Angelo totaled 12 saves for the Black Bears (2-1-2) and Amanda Hendrickson recorded 10 for Medomak Valley (3-2-1) at Readfield.

 

OCEANSIDE 3, MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 0: Makenna Brooks and Emma Spencer finished with one goal and one assist apiece as the Mariners (6-1) shut out the Huskies (1-6) at Pittsfield.

Rachel Frye also scored and Kennadi Grover made five saves to record the shutout.

Rheanna Lawn finished with 15 saves for MCI.

 

BRUNSWICK 7, BREWER 0: Rachel Moroney and Paige Tetu had three goals apiece as the Dragons (7-0) downed the Witches (0-6) at Brunswick.

Anna Cowan added a goal and four assists, Haley Murano had five saves for the shutout.

 

EDWARD LITTLE 1, ERSKINE ACADEMY 0: Kory Norcross scored an unassisted goal on a breakaway with two minutes left in the second overtime as the Red Eddies (3-3-1) beat the Eagles (3-3-1) at Auburn.
