YORK – Alex Bernier scored unassisted in the 10th minute and Caroline Lucas made six saves for her seventh shutout as Falmouth remained undefeated with a 1-0 victory against York in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game Tuesday.

Maddie Patten stopped nine shots for York (4-4-1) against the Yachtsmen (9-0-1).

 

BRUNSWICK 5, OXFORD HILLS 1: Anna Cowan scored three goals, and Paige Tetu had a goal and four assists to lead the Dragons (10-0) past the Vikings (3-6-2) at Brunswick.

Rachel Moroney added a goal and an assist for Brunswick.

GREELY 0, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Caton Beaulieu made six saves to stymie the Capers (8-1-1) and Mary Perkins countered with five saves to shut out Greely (6-3-1) at Cape Elizabeth.

 

YARMOUTH 1, FREEPORT 1: Brooke Heathco broke a scoreless tie on a direct kick 13 minutes into the second half for the Falcons (5-5-1), but Eavan O’Neill tied it for Yarmouth (2-5-2) at Freeport.

Aubrey Pennell made 13 saves for Freeport; Olivia Conrad countered with nine for the Clippers.

 

MT. ARARAT 2, LEWISTON 0: Celia Ouellette and Libby Ouellette scored as Mt. Ararat (7-3) beat the Blue Devils (2-5-2) at Lewiston.

MORSE 1, NOKOMIS 0: Miracle Trimble headed in Sophie Sreden’s corner kick a minute into the second half as Morse (9-1-1) beat the Warriors (7-5) at Newport.

 

MEDOMAK VALLEY 1, OCEANSIDE 1: Amanda Hendrickson made 13 saves for the Panthers (6-3-2) against Oceanside (7-2-2) at Rockland.

 

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 6, LAKE REGION 1: Olivia Dubois scored twice to give the Seagulls (6-1-3) a 2-0 halftime lead against Lake Region (3-4-1) at Old Orchard Beach.

Abby Dubois added two early second-half goals, followed by goals from Abby Fucciani and Anna Foss. Foss also had two assists. Cece Hancock scored for the Lakers on a penalty kick with seven minutes left.

 

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, POLAND 2: Sarah Giggey, Taylor Darnell and Zoe Adams scored for Gray-New Gloucester (3-5-2), offsetting a pair of own goals against the Knights (5-3-1) at Poland.

Sam Wilkins made seven saves for the Patriots and Haley Whitworth 11 for Poland.

 

SCARBOROUGH 7, NOBLE 0: Sarah Martens had four goals and an assist to lead the Red Storm (8-1-1) over Noble (1-10) at Scarborough.

Hadlee Yescott added two goals and an assist, and Morgan Rodway finished with a goal and two assists.

 

GORHAM 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Emily Lewis, Cady Houghton and Meghan Cushing scored as Gorham (7-3) held off the Red Riots (4-7) at South Portland.

Cushing’s goal in the 42nd minute gave the Rams a 3-1 lead. Jenacee Bradbury scored on a direct kick in the 67th to move the Red Riots within one, but Marissa Roberts (six saves) stopped a chance on a scramble in the final seconds.

 

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, WELLS 1: Jamie Gullickson scored twice, both in the first half, as Fryeburg Academy (1-8-1) beat the Warriors (1-7-1) at Wells.

The Warriors responded with a goal by Maddie Taylor off a corner kick.
