MANCHESTER, N.H. — Police in Manchester have arrested a man accused of stealing purses and other items from some nuns while they were setting up for their annual charity fair.
Police arrested 25-year-old Brendan Ramsey of Manchester, who had been doing maintenance work for the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Oct. 18, when the thefts were reported. He was charged Wednesday with multiple counts of receiving stolen property and theft by deception.
Police were able to track purchases made with a credit card from one of the nuns’ purses.
