GENEVA, N.Y. — Bowdoin’s hopes for a berth in the NCAA Division III field hockey Final Four ended Sunday, when the Polar Bears fell to Tufts, 2-1, in a third round playoff game at McCooey Field at William H. Smith College.

The Polar Bears (16-4) were touched for both Tufts tallies off second-half penalty corners.

The second of those, scored by Tufts freshman Dakota Sikes-Keilp with 8:30 remaining, ended Bowdoin’s hopes.
