SHARKS NOTES: The Sharks, who were 3-1 winners against the Pirates last Friday night at Worcester, have earned points in seven of their last nine games. In games against the Pirates this season, rookie center Freddie Hamilton and former Pirate forward Tim Kennedy each have a goal and two assists. Veteran center Bracken Kearns has scored a goal in each of his last three games. Former Portland tough guy Jimmy Bonneau also plays for Worcester.

PIRATES NOTES: The Pirates earned three of a possible six points during a three-game road trip last weekend. They are 2-0 at the Colisee this season. In two games against the Sharks, veteran forward Chris Conner has two goals and three assists, and defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, who missed the last five games because of an injury to his left hand, has two goals. Rookie forward Chris Brown has scored goals in three of his last four games, and veteran center Alexandre Bolduc has eight goals to tie for fourth place in the league.
