OKLAHOMA CITY – Kevin Durant scored 35 points and Russell Westbrook added 23, combing for all of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s points in overtime Wednesday night in a 117-111 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers, who came in tied for the best record in the Western Conference, had a six-game winning streak snapped.

Westbrook connected on a 3-pointer from the left wing to open the scoring in overtime, and Durant rattled one in from about the same spot two possessions later for a 108-104 advantage.

Westbrook then answered DeAndre Jordan’s three-point play with a baseline jumper, and Oklahoma City was able to close it out from the foul line.

Blake Griffin led Los Angeles with 23 points and Jamal Crawford scored 20 in the meeting of West division leaders.

CAVALIERS 92, 76ERS 83: Jeremy Pargo, filling in for the injured Kyrie Irving, scored a career-high 28 points and Cleveland won at home to break a six-game losing streak.

The Cavaliers came into the game with a 2-8 record but stopped the Sixers’ three-game winning streak despite not having Irving, who is expected to miss a month with a broken left index finger. He was injured Saturday against Dallas and played the next night in Philadelphia before an MRI revealed a crack in the bone.

MAGIC 90, PISTONS 74: Andrew Nicholson scored 15 points, Glen Davis had 11 points and 14 rebounds, and Orlando used a 21-0 run to open the third quarter to win at home.

Orlando struggled to compete with Detroit’s big men early, but used the big spurt to blow open the game. The surge included a more than 10-minute scoring drought by the Pistons.

BOBCATS 98, RAPTORS 97: Ramon Sessions hit a 16-footer with 28 seconds left and Charlotte made a late defensive stand at home for its fifth win in the past six games.

The Bobcats led by as many as 10 in the fourth quarter, but the Raptors took the lead after a late run.

HEAT 113, BUCKS 106: LeBron James had 28 points and 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 28 points and Miami scored the first six points of overtime at home.

ROCKETS 93, BULLS 89: James Harden scored 28 points, Patrick Patterson added 20 and Houston won at home to snap a three-game losing streak.

Toney Douglas swished a 3-pointer and sank two free throws in the final 1:11 as Houston won for the 33rd consecutive time when holding opponent below 90 points, the NBA’s longest current streak.

NOTES

TIMBERWOLVES: Forward Kevin Love was a surprise activation against Denver.

Love hasn’t played this season after breaking his right hand during the exhibition season. The initial timetable was 6 to 8 weeks to recover. But he was able to return to the lineup just over four weeks after he was injured.

CLIPPERS: Starting forward Caron Butler missed the game against Oklahoma City because of a strained right shoulder.

Matt Barnes started in place of Butler, who was hurt Monday night in a 92-87 victory at San Antonio.
