YARMOUTH – Quincy Grace scored 17 points as Old Orchard Beach earned a 51-23 win over North Yarmouth Academy in a Western Maine Conference boys’ basketball game Monday night.

Joe Gildard added 11 points and Nick Carlin had 10 for the Seagulls (1-1).

Colby Bate led NYA (0-2) with nine points.

 

YORK 71, GREELY 48: Aaron Todd and Zachary Leal each scored 23 points as the Wildcats (2-0) beat the Rangers (1-1) in Cumberland.

Todd tallied 12 points in the third quarter, when York outscored Greely 25-9 to open a 59-33 lead.

Hayden Webster added 12 for the Wildcats. Michael McDevitt led Greely with 20.

 

A.R. GOULD 65, PINE TREE ACADEMY 51: Chris Thomas scored eight points in the first quarter and Zacharia Mohamed added six as the Bears (1-1) opened a 23-4 lead over Pine Tree (0-2) in South Portland.

Mohamed finished with 23 points and Thomas scored 12.

Zach Wilday scored 23, Chris Wilday had 16 and Jean-Pierre Tashamala contributed 11 for Pine Tree.

BOOTHBAY 66, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 33: Anthony DiMauro finished with 23 points and eight rebounds to lead the Seahawks (2-0) past the Mustangs (0-1) at Boothbay Harbor.

Linc Simmons added 11 points and Andrew Hallinan had nine points.

Marcques Houston led Monmouth with 16 points.

 

WINTHROP 63, LISBON 39: Ben Allen had 16 points and five steals to lead the Ramblers (1-1) past the Greyhounds (1-1) at Winthrop.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 54, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 22: Mackenzie Rague had 12 points, nine steals and five assists in limited playing time for the Seagulls (1-1) in a victory over the Panthers (0-2) at Old Orchard Beach.

Kelsey Custeau added 10 points. Chloe Leishman’s eight points led NYA.

 

HALL-DALE 68, WISCASSET 55: Michael Woods scored 22 points and Zac Plummer added 13 to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) at Wiscasset.

Bryson Camp and Sam Shepherd each scored 10 points for Hall-Dale.

HYDE 40, KENTS HILL 30: Kara Fischer scored 14 points to lead the Phoenix (2-0) past Kents Hill (1-1) in Bath.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

BRUNSWICK 6, ST. DOMINIC 4: Rachel Moroney scored four goals and assisted on a fifth to lead the Dragons (2-3) over the Saints (1-4) in Brunswick.

Tess Cassidy added a goal and four assists, and Eliza Brooks had a goal and two assists.

Kelly McLellan’s three goals keyed the St. Dom’s offense.

CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 6, MT. ARARAT 2: Julia Ginder’s three goals led the Capers (2-2-1) past the Eagles (0-4) at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Allison Mills, Emily Spidle and Kate Ewald also scored for Cape/Waynflete, and Lily Jordan made 19 saves. Mills added three assists and Ewald had two.

Nellie Hetherington and Carly Raymond scored for the Eagles.
