Army Sgt. Joshua B. McLaughlin has returned to the United States after being deployed overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. McLaughlin is an infantryman and team leader assigned to the Fourth Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He is the son of Janet Annis of Otisfield and David McLaughlin of Gray. His spouse, Raeleen, is the daughter of Irene Thibodeau of Lewiston. McLaughlin is a 2007 graduate of Lewiston High School and has served four years in the military.
Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class James N. Keto, son of Sharon Allie of Biddeford and John Keto, of Oneonta, N.Y., along with nearly 12,000 past and current crew members, family and friends attended the inactivation of aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) at Norfolk, Va. Keto is a 2007 graduate of Biddeford High School and joined the Navy in March 2009.
