YORK – Aaron Rodd scored 28 points Friday to lead York to a 67-39 victory against Wells in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy basketball game.
Zach Leal added 12 points and Hayden Webster scored 11 for the Wildcats (9-1), who took a 21-9 lead in the first quarter.
The Warriors (6-3) got 16 points from Dylan Stevens and 10 from Jake Moody.
BOOTHBAY REGION 68, TELSTAR 45: Anthony DiMauro and John Hepburn scored 16 points each to lead the Seahawks (9-1) over Telstar (1-9) at Boothbay Harbor.
Hepburn scored nine points in the third quarter as Boothbay used a 22-12 run to open a 50-32 lead. DiMauro was the leading rebounder with eight.
Michael Del Duca led Telstar with 19 points.
BIDDEFORD 70, GORHAM 55: Coach Mike Fecteau earned his 100th win as the Tigers (3-7) rallied in the fourth quarter against the Rams (4-6) at Gorham.
Matt Cote scored 19 points, Nicholas Leblond finished with 17 and Kyle Lagasse had 10 for the Tigers, who made 16 of their 21 free throws in the fourth quarter while outscoring the Rams, 29-16.
Elliott Spiers and Ryan Sullivan each had 10 points for Gorham, which ran into foul trouble in the second half after leading 32-25 at halftime.
Fecteau is in his 12th season.
SCARBOROUGH 80, NOBLE 61: Kevin Manning knocked down four 3-pointers in the first quarter as the Red Storm (6-4) took a 26-17 lead and rolled past the Knights (4-6) at Scarborough.
Manning finished with 15 points. Sam Terry led Scarborough with 20 and Brendan Hall added 17.
Sean Jackson scored 22 points for Noble. Adam Della-Piana had 18.
HAMPDEN ACADEMY 55, BRUNSWICK 43: Zach Gilpin scored seven of his 22 points during a 19-7 run in the third quarter, helping the Broncos (10-0) take control against the Dragons (6-4) at Hampden.
Blake Gordon scored 17 points and Ryan Black had 11 for Brunswick, which led 24-23 at halftime.
FALMOUTH 92, LAKE REGION 41: Freshman Thomas Coyne had 26 points, including five 3-pointers, and the Yachtsmen (9-0) opened each half with a lopsided run against the Lakers (3-6) at Falmouth.
Jackson Simonds added 16 points with 11 rebounds and six assists, and Grant Burfeind finished with 11 points for Falmouth, which led 29-11 after one quarter and 74-28 at the start of the fourth following a 27-0 rally in the third.
Cody Gibbons led the Lakers with 11 points.
THORNTON ACADEMY 71, KENNEBUNK 55: Jeffrey Gelinas and Reuben Moses scored 17 points apiece to lead Thornton Academy (4-5) over the Rams (1-9) at Kennebunk.
Evan Wright added 10 points for the Golden Trojans, who led 34-23 at halftime.
Austin Sandler scored 15 points for the Rams. Hank Lapham had 12.
DEERING 71, CHEVERUS 63: Ahmed Ismail Ahmed had 20 points and seven rebounds to lead the Rams (9-1) past the visiting Stags (3-7) at Portland.
Kevin Masse added 14 points for Deering, which used a 25-4 run in the second quarter to take a 37-23 lead. Dominic Lauture and Medhane Haleform each had 10 points for the Rams.
Noah Stebbins scored 17 points for Cheverus. Brad Carney had 12.
CAPE ELIZABETH 59, YARMOUTH 50: Chris Robicheaw scored 20 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, to help Cape Elizabeth (8-2) put away the Clippers (5-5) at Yarmouth.
The Capers used a 19-11 second-quarter run to take a 35-29 lead.
David Murphy scored 16 points for the Clippers. Nathaniel Shields-Auble had 10.
BONNY EAGLE 57, MARSHWOOD 47: Dustin Cole scored 26 points to power the Scots (8-2) past the Hawks (3-7) at Standish.
Nick Dubay added 14 points and C.J. Autry grabbed 13 rebounds for Bonny Eagle, which pulled away from a 26-26 halftime tie with an 18-7 third quarter.
Brady Innes had 18 points for Marshwood.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 57, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 34: Walker-James Mallory scored 15 points and the Raiders (3-7) pulled away over the middle quarters against the Patriots (1-7) at Fryeburg.
Mallory had 12 points during the rally that broke an 8-8 tie at the end of the first quarter and gave the Raiders a 46-21 lead at the start of the fourth.
Bright Amoako had 12 points with 10 rebounds, five assists and six steals, and Tyler Saunders chipped in 10 points for Fryeburg.
Samuel Johnson led Gray-New Gloucester with 14 points.
GREELY 64, FREEPORT 51: Bailey Train scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half to help Greely (7-3) pull away from the Falcons (1-8) at Freeport.
Michael McDevitt added 15 points for the Rangers. Chandler Birmingham scored 20 for the Falcons.
Freeport rallied from a 25-19 halftime deficit to make it 27-27 in the third, but Greely finished the quarter with a 16-9 run.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 73, POLAND 57: Quincy Grace scored 19 points to pace four Seagulls (6-4) in double figures against the Knights (2-8) at Old Orchard Beach.
Grace had seven in the first quarter to help the Seagulls to a 22-15 lead. Anthony Langella-Laws chipped in nine of his 17 points in the third when Old Orchard went ahead 60-45.
Joe Gildard (16 points) and James Strohm (12) were the other leading scorers.
C.J. Martin had 16 points and Tyler Michaud 15 for Poland.
MEDOMAK VALLEY 56, GARDINER 45: Nicholas DePatsy made a go-ahead 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter and the Panthers (8-2) were 11 of 12 from the line down the stretch to pull away from the Tigers (3-6) at Waldoboro.
John Murray had 15 points, including seven in the fourth, and 11 rebounds for Medomak. Ryan Ripley added 13 points and 13 boards.
Tyler Jamison scored 18 points for Gardiner.
NOKOMIS 62, OCEANSIDE 41: Drew Wing scored 17 points as Nokomis (6-4) downed Oceanside (8-2) at Newport.
Oceanside (8-2) was ranked No. 1 in the Eastern Class B Heal point standings. The Mariners’ only previous loss was to Camden Hills by three points.
Andrew Cartright and Noah Kershner each added 14 points for Nokomis.
Shea Davenport had 13 points and Sam Meklin 12 for Oceanside.
WATERVILLE 64, MORSE 43: Josh Gormley had 11 points, seven steals and seven assists as the Purple Panthers (5-5) beat the Shipbuilders (4-6) at Bath.
Justin Jabar added 14 points and Chris Hale 12 for Waterville. John-Peter Michaud had six points and eight rebounds. Matt Munster scored eight points for Morse.
HYDE 49, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 44: Hyde (8-0) scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to rally past the Panthers (4-6) at Bath.
Ben Burlock scored nine points, had 11 rebounds and blocked six shots for Hyde. Ryan Cassidy added 15 points and Wilson MacMillan had 12.
SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 39, SACOPEE VALLEY 20: Logan Archer had 13 points and Isaac LaCroix added 10 as the Guardians (4-4) handled the Hawks (0-9) at South Berwick.
