BANGOR – Parker Sanderson and Zach Papsadora scored two goals each Saturday, leading Bangor to a 12-4 victory against Thornton Academy in a schoolboy hockey game.

Bangor (7-1) led 4-1 after one period, then scored five goals in a span of 3:59 early in the second to make it 9-1.

Steve Comar, Justin Cloutier, Alex Fallon and Alex Lambert scored for Thornton (4-3).

GREELY 6, GARDINER 1: Ted Hart and Reid Howland scored three times each for Greely (6-2) against Gardiner (2-6) at Augusta.

GORHAM 5, MARSHWOOD 4: Spence Cowand broke in alone down the left side and beat Tyler Gagnon low to the short side 4:15 into overtime as the Rams (4-5-1) beat Marshwood (4-6) at Gorham.

Tucker Buteau scored twice for Gorham, and Jake Cagnina scored twice for the Hawks.

Gagnon finished with 51 saves. Justin Broy stopped 18 shots for Gorham.

FALMOUTH 15, KENNEBUNK 0: Kris Samaras scored three goals to lead Falmouth at home.

Andre Clement, Brandon Peters and Alden Bohrmann added two goals each.

SCARBOROUGH 2, BRUNSWICK 0: Nick Bagley broke a scoreless tie with 2:05 left in the second period and Jake Gross added a goal 4:17 into the third as the Red Storm (8-1) edged the Dragons (4-5) at Saco.

Dalton Finley made 10 saves to record his third consecutive shutout.

Blake Alexander finished with 44 saves for Brunswick.

CAMDEN HILLS 6, YARMOUTH 2: Jack Orne and Stephen Hand scored three goals apiece to lead the Windjammers (8-0) past the Clippers (1-6-2) at Rockport.

Grayson Szumilas collected three assists, and Cal Robbins and James Annis chipped in with two assists apiece for Camden Hills, which never trailed.

Walter Conrad and Sam Landry scored for Yarmouth.

SKOWHEGAN 4, MT. ARARAT/LISBON 1: Camden DesPres and Anthony-James Paul each had a goal and an assist to lead the Indians (9-0) over Mt. Ararat (3-5) at Brunswick.

Kameron Nelson and Kyle Demchak also scored for Skowhegan, and Trey Michonski had a pair of assists.

Jeremy Williams answered for the Eagles.

BASKETBALL

WISCASSET 82, CARRABEC 46: Chandler Longfellow had 11 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals to help the Wolverines (5-4) beat the Cobras (0-10) at Wiscasset.

Dylan McMahon and Travis Padilla scored 13 points apiece for Wiscasset, which led 42-15 at the half.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 52, ISLESBORO 29: Logan Archer scored 14 points to help Seacoast Christian (5-4) beat the Eagles (1-10) at Islesboro.

Silas Thompson scored all of his eight points in the third quarter as the Guardians used a 16-4 run to take a 34-20 lead.

Cameron Jack scored 13 points for Islesboro.

MADISON 64, LISBON 50: Austin Kane scored 20 points and the Bulldogs (4-6) took a 21-8 lead on the way to beating Lisbon (2-8) at Madison.

Kaleb Staples and Steven Lawrence each added eight points for Madison.

Tucker Brannon scored 27 points for Lisbon.
