SOUTH HIRAM – Zacharia Mohamed scored 27 points Thursday night to lead A.R. Gould to an 81-40 victory against Sacopee Valley in a schoolboy basketball game.

Chris Thomas chipped in 15 points for A.R. Gould (7-5), which is in Western Class D. Dominic Locke scored 11 for Sacopee Valley (0-12), which is in Western Class C.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 77, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 18: Quincy Grace scored 20 points for the Seagulls (8-4), who took a 41-4 halftime lead and cruised past the Lions (0-10) at Old Orchard Beach.

Jacob Douglas added 10 points and nine rebounds, and Anthony Langella-Laws finished with eight points and eight rebounds for Old Orchard.

BOOTHBAY REGION 56, DIRIGO 44: Anthony DiMauro scored 14 of his game-high 20 points in the fourth quarter as the Seahawks (14-1) closed the game on a 28-14 run to rally past the Cougars (13-1) at Boothbay Harbor.

DiMauro also had seven assists, and John Hepburn added 18 points and six rebounds for the Seahawks.

After Dirigo took a 16-6 lead in the first quarter, Boothbay rallied to cut the deficit to four going into the fourth.

Riley Robinson paced Dirigo with 17 points. Kaine Huchins scored 10.

MT. ABRAM 65, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 61: Amos Withee scored 30 points as the Roadrunners (7-8) beat the Mustangs (6-8) at Salem.

Ian James added 18 points for Mt. Abram.

Marcques Houston scored 17 points and Brandon Goff 11 for Monmouth.

MADISON 64, HALL-DALE 31: Austin Kane scored a game-high 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Madison (8-7) over visiting Hall-Dale (8-6).

Chase Malloy scored 10 points and Dylan Price added seven for Madison. Reserve center Chris Hayden had six points and 10 rebounds.

Brian Allen scored eight points to lead Hall-Dale.

OXFORD HILLS 66, CONY 60: Luke Davidson scored 18 points and Ken Lynch added 12 to lead the Vikings (6-8) over Cony (4-10) at Augusta.

Jake Plummer scored 11 points for Oxford Hills, which led 34-24 at the half.

Liam Stokes scored 11 points and Mitch Bonenfant added 10 to pace the Rams.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 79, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 45: Abby Dubois scored 17 points, and Christina Colman and Kelsey Custeau each had 14 as the Seagulls (10-4) beat the Lions (7-3) at Old Orchard Beach.

Anna Foss added 13 points and nine assists, including five assists in the first quarter as Old Orchard took a 25-7 lead.

Clarissa Jones scored 20 points and Elaine Beech had 14 for Greater Portland Christian.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 47, HEBRON ACADEMY 32: Hannah Carr scored 12 of her 18 points in the first half as the Panthers (3-9) built a 22-15 lead and held off the Lumberjacks (3-7) at Hebron.

Chloe Leishman added 16 points for NYA, which outscored Hebron 12-5 in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Olivia Brown of Hebron scored a game-high 21 points.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

GARDINER 5, LEAVITT 3: Hunter Belanger and Alex Nadeau each scored twice to lead the Tigers (3-6-1) past Leavitt (3-6-1) at Hallowell.

Gardiner won its second straight game.

Logan Peacock also scored a goal and Brad Moore stopped 19 shots for Gardiner, which led 1-0 after the first period and 2-1 after the second.

The Tigers then scored a pair of goals six minutes into the third.
