PORTLAND – Serge Nyirikamba scored 21 points Saturday to lead Waynflete to a 67-60 victory against Wells in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy basketball game.

Max Belleau added 15 points, including a 3-pointer with less then two minutes remaining to give Waynflete (13-1) a 65-60 lead. Jack Cutler scored 12 and Paul Runyambo put in 10 points for the Flyers.

Dylan Stevens totaled 27 points and Jake Moody had 19 for Wells (9-5).

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 74, SACOPEE VALLEY 34: Chase Gendron had 23 points, eight rebounds, and four steals as the Panthers (5-9) cruised past the Hawks (0-13) at Yarmouth.

El Tayeb Dahia added 16 points with six boards and three steals, Ryan Hemenway scored 11, and Jackson Cohan-Smith had nine steals and eight assists for NYA.

Alex Fenderson scored 16 points for Sacopee.

YORK 79, LAKE REGION 35: Aaron Todd scored 20 points as the Wildcats (13-1) upended the Lakers (4-10) at York.

Michael Gallagher buried five 3-pointers for 15 points and Zach Leal added 10 points for York.

CHEVERUS 66, MASSABESIC 43: Noah Stebbins led a balanced offense with 11 points as Cheverus (4-9) defeated the Mustangs (1-12) at Portland.

Zordan Homan added 10 points, and Spencer Noel and Emmanuel Ismail contributed nine apiece for the Stags.

Cale Thornton paced Massabesic with 15 points.

FALMOUTH 67, POLAND 42: Charlie Fay finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Yachtsmen (14-0) against the Knights (3-11) at Falmouth.

Falmouth took a 19-6 lead in the first quarter behind nine points from Grant Burfeind, who finished with 11.

Jake Horning added 12 points for Falmouth, which led 38-16 at halftime.

C.J. Martin led Poland with 16 points.

CAPE ELIZABETH 56, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 29: Henry Babcock scored 15 points to pace the Capers (10-4) against the Patriots (3-11) at Cape Elizabeth.

Xander Schonewolf added nine points for the Capers, who outscored the Patriots 26-4 in the second quarter.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 46, GREELY 37: Walker-James Mallory scored 15 points as the Raiders (6-8) beat the Rangers (8-6) at Fryeburg.

Bright Amoako added nine points for Fryeburg, which took a 30-13 lead at the half.

Mike McDevitt had 19 points for Greely.

YARMOUTH 94, FREEPORT 41: Adam LaBrie scored eight points as Yarmouth (8-6) opened with a 27-7 run against the Falcons (2-12) in Freeport.

Nathaniel Shields-Auble led the Clippers with 15 points, Labrie scored 14 and Christian Henry 12. Chandler Birmingham led Freeport with 23 points.

HOCKEY

SCARBOROUGH 6, GORHAM 1: Cam Brochu scored a pair of goals as the Red Storm (11-1) beat the Rams (6-6-1) at Gorham.

Nick Bagley and Jack Rousselle each had a goal and two assists for Scarborough, which totaled four power-play goals.

Blake Babineau scored for Gorham.

NOBLE-WELLS 7, WINDHAM-SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Ryer Smith scored three goals and Connor Pease collected six assists to lead Noble-Wells (7-6) at Rochester, N.H.

Zack Callahan scored for Windham-Sacopee Valley to make it 1-1 midway through the first period.

CAPE ELIZABETH 12, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Timothy Corsello scored his first two varsity goals, and assisted on another two as Cape Elizabeth (5-7-1) beat the Red Riots (0-9) at Portland.

Eli Breed and Curtis Guimond had two goals and one assist for the Capers, and Charlie Laprade added two goals. Satchell had three assists in addition to a goal. Kyle Halvorsen scored both South Portland goals.

GREELY 6, BIDDEFORD 3: Reid Howland had two goals and assisted on three others for the Rangers (7-4), who scored three third-period goals to pull away from the Tigers (5-5-1) at Biddeford.

Ted Hart added three goals for Greely and Matt Ames scored another.

FRIDAY’S BASKETBALL

BONNY EAGLE 73, GORHAM 58: Ben Malloy had 26 points and Dustin Cole scored 24 to power the Scots (11-3) past the Rams (5-8) at Gorham.

Malloy connected on seven 3-point shots. C.J. Autry added 14 points for the Scots.

Elliot Spears had 14 points and Jonathan Woods totaled 13 for the Rams.

SCARBOROUGH 70, SANFORD 55: Brendan Hall and Sam Terry scored 16 points apiece to lead Scarborough (9-5) over the Spartans (6-8) at Sanford.

Dillon Russo added 12 points for the Red Storm, who took a 21-14 lead in the first quarter. Scarborough shot 12 of 14 from the foul line in the fourth.

Ryan Camire scored 20 points for the Spartans. Evyn Nolette sank four 3-pointers.

THORNTON ACADEMY 73, NOBLE 58: Quinn Richardson-Newton scored 20 points, including 9 of 10 from the foul line, to lead Thornton Academy (9-5) over Noble (4-10) at Saco.
