POLAND — Nina Davenport scored 16 points Tuesday night as Freeport got off to a good start in the second half to top Poland 41-29 in a Western Maine Conference girls’ basketball game.

The Falcons (11-6) used a 10-2 run to start the third quarter to pull away from the Knights (6-11), who led 18-17 at the half.

Kayla Yirrell scored 11 points to pace Poland.

KENNEBUNK 41, BIDDEFORD 40: Heather Landry made two foul shots with four seconds left in the second overtime period to lift the Rams (3-14) over the Tigers (4-13) at Kennebunk.

Olivia Snyder added 11 points and Samantha Carey scored nine points and grabbed 18 rebounds for Kennebunk.

Biddeford was led by Katie Gelinas with 11 points.

WELLS 54, TRAIP 33: Kate Tufts sank three 3-pointers and Alison Furness scored 10 points, to lead the Warriors (7-10) to a 36-8 halftime lead over the Rangers (5-12) in Kittery.

Furness finished with 12, and Tufts 10. Alli Barret scored 10 for Traip.

YORK 37, FALMOUTH 33: Emily Campbell scored 13 points to pace the Wildcats (15-2) as they held on to edge the Yachtsmen (8-9) at Falmouth.

Shannon Todd chipped in 10 points for Falmouth, which led 34-25 going into the fourth quarter.

York was led by Anna Hickey with 11 points.

GORHAM 47, WINDHAM 33: Lexi Merrifield scored nine of her team-leading 13 points in the third quarter as the Rams (10-7) downed the Eagles (9-8) at Windham.

The Rams opened the third quarter with a 12-0 run to pull away. Kristin Ross finished with 12 points and Erin Smith had 10 for the Rams.

Marissa Ulmer led Windham with 11 points.

SANFORD 58, NOBLE 23: Heather LeBlanc and Samantha Adams had 11 points each and Morgan Fogg added 10 to lead the Spartans (11-6) past the Knights (1-16) at North Berwick.

Chandler Waterman led Noble with 11 points and nine rebounds.

LeBlanc pulled down 10 rebounds for Sanford.

OCEANSIDE 49, MEDOMAK VALLEY 32: Hannah Plourde scored nine of her 13 points in the second half as the Mariners (15-2) overcame a 25-18 deficit by outscoring the Panthers (5-12) 31-7 over the final two quarters in Waldoboro.

Phoebe Ferraiolo added 15 for the Mariners, and Kennadi Grover 13.

Samantha Griffin’s 15 led Medomak, with Hannah Marks adding 10.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 31, BUCKFIELD 24: Chloe Leishman made four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals to lead the Panthers (4-12) past the Bucks (3-15) at Yarmouth.

Leishman scored seven of her points in the fourth quarter as the Panthers outscored Buckfield 12-4 to erase a one point deficit.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 61, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 34: Vanessa Barnes scored 15 points to pace the Phoenix (17-0) as they broke open a three-point halftime lead to pull away from the Falcons (5-12) at Livermore Falls.

Brooke Dolloff led Mountain Valley with 13 points.

ERSKINE 64, BRUNSWICK 52: Bridget Humphrey scored a career-high 29 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, to lead the Eagles (1-16) in South China.

Humphrey added 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Hannah Bridges also turned in a strong game with 18 points.

For the Dragons (2-15), Julia Champagne scored 15 points, Lyse Henshaw 12 and Lauren Carleton 11.

McAULEY 68, PORTLAND 33: Victoria Lux scored 16 points in the first half, leading the Lions (17-0) to a 38-17 lead over the visiting Bulldogs (6-11) in Portland.

Lux finished with 18 points. Sarah Clement and Jackie Welch scored 11 each for the Lions, and Olivia Smith 10. Molly Mack contributed 10 rebounds.

Brianna Holdren’s 12 was tops for Portland.

CAPE ELIZABETH 66, YARMOUTH 38: Emma O’Rourke’s eight points led the Capers (9-8) during an opening 18-8 run against the Clippers (1-16) in Yarmouth.

O’Rourke finished with 13 for the Capers, and Kisa Tabery 11.

Shannon Fallon had 12 for Yarmouth, and Tess Merrill 10.

WESTBROOK 54, BONNY EAGLE 47: Chelsea Rairdon scored nine of her game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Blue Blazes (2-15) pulled away from the Scots (5-12) at Westbrook.

Paige Baldwin added 13 points for Westbrook, which outscored Bonny Eagle 27-19 in the fourth quarter.

Delaney McCullough led Bonny Eagle with 12 points.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 45, MORSE 43: Ashley McKenney hit a 3-pointer with 37 seconds left to put the Eagles (7-10) ahead for good in their win over the Shipbuilders (4-12) at Newcastle.

Sadia Crosby led all scorers with 12 points for the Shipbuilders.

MARSHWOOD 67, MASSABESIC 59: Abby Hyson went 7 for 7 from the foul line in the fourth quarter and finished with 23 points to lift the Hawks (8-9) over the Mustangs (2-15) at Waterboro.

Erica Guimond scored a career-high 27 points and also grabbed nine rebounds to pace Massabesic, which led 48-42 going into the fourth quarter.

MT. ARARAT 56, LEWISTON 46: Caitlin LaFountain scored a game-high 22 points and Mallory Nelson added 15 to lead the Eagles (14-3) past the Blue Devils (5-12) at Lewiston.

Brie Wilson scored 15 points to lead Lewiston, which trailed 27-17 at halftime.
