NAPLES — Authorities have identified the pilot of a small plane that crashed on a southern Maine lake over the weekend.

Damage to the plane was minimal and the pilot was not injured in Saturday’s crash. He’s been identified as 57-year-old Anthony Longley of Casco.

Officials say the single-engine Cessna crashed on Long Lake while attempting to land.
