LANCASTER, N.H. — Officials say two people were hurt and a third escaped injury in three snowmobile accidents in northern New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department says 32-year-old Kevin Brigham, of Brookline, crashed into an oncoming snowmobile near Colebrook at 11 a.m. Saturday. He was flown by helicopter to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with internal injuries that officials said were not life-threatening.

At 2 p.m., a 31-year-old man from Northfield, crashed into a tree in Dixville. He wasn’t injured, but he was issued a ticket for operating at an unreasonable speed.

The department says a 24-year-old woman struck a tree in Pittsburg, N.H., at about 5 p.m. and was thrown from her machine. She was taken to a hospital in Colebrook with minor injuries.
