PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Police say an attempted murder suspect has been charged with robbing a gas station in Portsmouth, N.H., in January.

Police say 48-year-old Ronald L. Baker is currently incarcerated in the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord for a parole violation and as a fugitive from justice from the state of Maine where he was charged with attempted murder for an incident in Lebanon, Maine, on Jan. 8.

Baker now is charged with committing an armed robbery at a Mobil station in Portsmouth on Jan. 12 and is expected to face charges in a robbery of a convenience store in Somersworth late last year.
