CAPE ELIZABETH – Talley Perkins scored four goals and assisted on three others Thursday night to lead Cape Elizabeth to a 13-4 victory against Freeport in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Liz Robinson and Lauren Steidl added three goals apiece, and Robinson also had an assist for the Capers (2-0).

Jocelyn Davee scored three goals for Freeport (1-1).

THORNTON ACADEMY 15, BIDDEFORD 6: Carly McKenna scored a game-high four goals as the Trojans (1-1) cruised past the Tigers (0-1) at Biddeford.

Lauren Wells and Courtney O’Brien chipped in with two goals apiece for Thornton.

Biddeford got two goals apiece from Nikki Matteau and Shelby Courtois.

CHEVERUS 18, MCAULEY 5: Elyse Caiazzo scored four goals as the visiting Stags (1-1) cruised past the Lions (0-2) at Portland.

Alex Logan and Meredith Willard put in three goals apiece for Cheverus.

Katherine Lake had two goals for McAuley.

GORHAM 14, DEERING 7: Katie Tucker, Reagan Emerson and Kali St. Germain scored three goals apiece to lead Gorham (2-0) over Deering (0-2) at Portland.

Samantha Sivolvos scored three goals for Deering.

KENNEBUNK 16, PORTLAND 5: Rose Bryant scored five goals and Betsy Craig added four to power the Rams (2-0) past the Bulldogs (0-1) at Kennebunk.

Drew Barry had three goals for Portland.

Catherine Cotten stopped 13 shots for Kennebunk.

WELLS 20, NOBLE 9: Heather LaPierre and Brenna Trefethan scored four goals apiece as the Warriors (1-1) downed the Knights (0-3) at North Berwick.

Hailey Smith and Maddie Andrews each chipped in with three goals, and Andrews also had an assist for Wells.

GARDINER 14, MORSE 7: Ally Day scored six goals, and Brooke Davis added five goals and an assist as the Tigers (3-0) downed Morse (0-1) at Gardiner.

Maddy Olsen and Ruth Nadeau led Morse with two goals apiece, and Nadeau had an assist.

SCARBOROUGH 12, BONNY EAGLE 3: Ainsley Jamieson, Avery Pietras and Kaitlin Price scored three goals apiece as the Red Storm (2-0) cruised past the Scots (1-1) at Standish.

Sam Campobasso scored all three Bonny Eagle goals.

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, SANFORD 4: Lani Edwards had four goals and an assist to spark the Red Riots (1-0) past the Spartans (0-2) at South Portland.

Ericka Lightner chipped in three goals, Shae O’Brien had two goals with an assist and Abby Letourneau scored twice for South Portland. Caroline L’Heureux scored twice for Sanford.

BASEBALL

MARSHWOOD 14, NOBLE 2: Alex McLean struck out three with no walks while throwing a four-hitter, and also had three hits with three runs and an RBI as the Hawks (3-0) downed the Knights (0-3) in five innings at South Berwick.

Max McCoomb added three hits and three RBI, and Zack Quintal had two hits and drove in three runs for Marshwood.

WINDHAM 5, MASSABESIC 3: Shawn Francoeur struck out seven in a complete-game win for the Eagles (2-1) against the Mustangs (1-2) at Windham.

Francoeur didn’t allow a walk and scattered six hits. He also had a double.

BONNY EAGLE 8, SANFORD 2: Tom Hazleton tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts and one earned run to lead the Scots (1-2) over the Spartans (0-3) at Standish.

T.J. Reagan had a two-run double, and Cory Leach and Brian Morin each drove in two runs for Bonny Eagle.

CHEVERUS 11, DEERING 6: Andrew Ferrick had three hits with three runs and two RBI for the visiting Stags (3-0), who scored eight straight runs between the third and fifth innings to pull away from the Rams (1-2) at Portland.

Felix DelVecchio added three hits and two RBI for Cheverus, and Mitchell Powers and Ryan Casale each had two hits.

KENNEBUNK 6, BIDDEFORD 5: Caleb Burpee was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and two outs in the 11th inning to bring in the winning run for the Rams (1-2) against the Tigers (0-3) at Kennebunk.

Robbie Burns doubled with one out in the bottom of the 11th for Kennebunk and advanced to third on a groundout. The next two batters were intentionally walked before Burpee was hit.

GORHAM 8, PORTLAND 4: Andrew Schmidt hit a three-run double to spark a five-run third inning for the Rams (2-1) against the Bulldogs (2-1) at Gorham.

Damon Wallace went 3 for 4 with a pair of RBI, and Alex McCarthy added two hits and two steals for Gorham.

SOFTBALL

MEDOMAK VALLEY 21, MT VIEW 1: Hannah Marks had a home run, triple and eight RBI for the Panthers (3-0) in a five-inning victory against the Mustangs (0-3) at Waldoboro.

BONNY EAGLE 18, PORTLAND 0: Erica Sullivan struck out seven in a perfect game as the Scots (2-1) downed the Bulldogs (0-3) in five innings at Portland.

Caitlyn Dyer had two hits, including a grand slam.
