CUMBERLAND – Danielle Cimino struck out six and walked none in a five-hitter Wednesday, leading Greely to a 4-2 victory against Wells in a Western Maine Conference softball game.

Greely (5-1) snapped a 1-1 tie with two runs in the fifth inning. Lexi Faietta and Evan Carrell each singled and scored.

Jordan Agger and Lauren Bame homered for Wells (4-3).

GORHAM 4, SANFORD 3: Sophomore Julia Gaudette picked up her first varsity win as the Rams (1-4) edged Sanford (3-3) at Gorham.

Gaudette allowed six hits, struck out four and walked one.

BIDDEFORD 13, MCAULEY 3: Abbie Paquette gave up three hits and struck out seven to lead the Tigers (3-3) over McAuley (1-4) at Biddeford.

Katelyn Lebreux went 2 for 2 with an RBI triple. Sarah Scott drove in three runs on two hits and Erin Martin knocked in two for Biddeford.

NOBLE 7, BONNY EAGLE 6: Jessica Morris singled home the go-ahead run, capping a four-run rally in the seventh inning that lifted the Knights (5-1) over the Scots (3-3) at Standish.

Breanna Lifland had four hits with a triple and two runs, and Kelsey Gaddy added a home run and two RBI for Bonny Eagle.

FALMOUTH 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Amanda Carver’s single brought home the go-ahead run in the fifth inning as the Yachtsmen (2-2) beat Gray-New Gloucester (4-3) at Falmouth.

Julia Treadwell of Falmouth gave up four hits, struck out four and walked none.

FREEPORT 18, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Leigh Wyman held the Seagulls (0-4) to a hit and a walk, struck out 10, and had a home run and two RBI to lead the Falcons (3-3) to a five-inning victory at Old Orchard Beach.

Amanda Miles had three hits and drove in two. Helen Humphrey and Vanessa Lee also had two RBI apiece.

POLAND 5, YARMOUTH 1: Kolby Woods struck out nine and walked one in a three-hitter as the Knights (4-3) beat Yarmouth (3-3) at Poland.

Kylie Martin hit a two-run single in the first inning, then hit a sacrifice fly in the third and scored in the sixth on a passed ball.

SCARBOROUGH 8, THORNTON ACADEMY 6: Sophia Burnham hit a two-run single in a three-run fifth inning as the Red Storm (5-0) broke a 5-5 tie and beat the Trojans (3-2) at Scarborough.

Alyssa Williamson had three hits, including a double, drove in two runs and scored once for the Red Storm.

SOUTH PORTLAND 19, MASSABESIC 7: Olivia Indorf drove in six runs and was 4 for 4 to lead the Red Riots (4-2) over Massabesic (2-3) in six innings at South Portland.

Erin Bogdanovich was 5 for 5 and Danica Gleason finished with four RBI on three hits, including a homer, for the Riots.

WESTBROOK 4, KENNEBUNK 1: Kayla Tibbetts pitched a six-hitter with three strikeouts and no walks, and Allie Lemay drove in the eventual winning run with a single in the second inning to lift the Blue Blazes (4-2) over the Rams (2-2) at Westbrook.

MARSHWOOD 12, WINDHAM 2: Sammy Crosman hit for the cycle, going 5 for 5 with four RBI and four runs to lead Marshwood (4-1) over the Eagles (2-4) at Windham.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, YORK 7: Ashley Tinsman had three hits, including a solo homer, to pace a 16-hit offense for the Capers (5-0) against the Wildcats (1-3) at York.

PORTLAND 13, DEERING 9: Olivia Gilbert had two hits, two RBI and two runs, and Amanda Gould drove in three to help the Bulldogs (1-5) beat the visiting Rams (0-6) at Portland.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 8, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Sarah Harriman pitched a four-hit shutout as Fryeburg Academy (7-0) beat Sacopee Valley (1-5) at South Hiram.

GREELY 14, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3: Julia Mitiguy scored three goals to pace the Rangers (3-0) over North Yarmouth Academy (0-2) at Cumberland.

FALMOUTH 11, YARMOUTH 8: Angela Mollis scored four goals as Falmouth (3-1) held off the Clippers (1-3) at Yarmouth.

SCARBOROUGH 15, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Kaitlin Prince had four goals and added an assist as the Red Storm (3-1) defeated the Red Riots (1-2) at Scarborough.
