FALMOUTH – Elizabeth Walker tripled home Julia Treadwell in the sixth inning Saturday, lifting Falmouth to an 8-7 victory against Greely in a Western Maine Conference softball game.

Walker finished with two hits, two walks, two stolen bases and three runs for the Yachtsmen (3-3). Treadwell also scored three times, Maddie Inlow had two hits and two runs, and starting pitcher Amanda Carver added two RBI.

Greely (6-2) rallied from a 7-3 deficit in the top of the sixth inning, stringing together six hits capped by Abby Nielsen’s tying RBI single.

Carver caught a line drive back to the circle with a runner on second to end the Rangers’ rally.

Sarah Felkel had four hits for Greely, including two doubles.

CONY 16, LINCOLN ACADEMY 2: Bayleigh Logan scored five goals to lead Cony (3-2) past the Eagles (0-4) at Augusta.

Emily Quirion added three goals and Annie Brannigan had two for the Rams. Mary Kirschner, Josie Lee, Hayley Quirion, Alexis Dostie, Lindsey Kalloch and Hilary Tyler each scored once. Lizzy Dennison made three saves.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

SOUTH PORTLAND 17, WINDHAM 2: Thomas Leddy scored five goals, and Andrew Whipple had a goal and five assists as the Red Riots (5-2) rolled past the Eagles (3-3) at South Portland.

Joey Babbidge added four goals and an assist for South Portland.

WAYNFLETE 19, FREEPORT 14: Sam Wogan scored seven goals for the Falcons (0-5) in a loss to the Flyers (2-3) at Freeport.

SCARBOROUGH 15, PORTLAND 2: John Wheeler scored five goals to lead the Red Storm (6-1) over Portland (0-7) at Scarborough.

Nine other players scored for Scarborough, including Cam Loiselle with two goals. Max Pierter scored both goals for the the Bulldogs.

BASEBALL

GORHAM 11, DEERING 3: Elliott Speirs had two of the 13 hits, drove home a pair of runs and was the winning pitcher as Gorham (5-3) beat Deering (1-6) at Portland.
