A New Sharon motorist who collided with a tractor trailer in front of his home Thursday has died from his injuries.
John Pelletier, 62, died Friday afternoon at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine State Police said.
Police said Pelletier’s pickup truck drove into the path of a tractor trailer as he was leaving his Route 2 driveway.
Police said alcohol and a medical condition may have contributed to the crash which closed down Route 2 for four hours.
The other driver as not injured.
