BRENTWOOD, N.H. — A Maine woman accused of helping her brother kill his ex-wife in New Hampshire is seeking a private investigator.
A judge granted a request Monday from Michelle Corson’s attorney to use an investigator.
Corson, of Skowhegan, Maine, is charged with being an accomplice to first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Amanda Warf.
Foster’s Daily Democrat reports Corson waived her right to a probable cause hearing Monday.
Firefighters found Warf’s body inside an abandoned concrete plant in Exeter on March 7. An autopsy later showed she had been murdered.
Corson’s brother, Aaron Desjardins, has been charged with killing Warf by cutting her throat.
Corson is accused of supplying her brother with a .32-caliber pistol that was used in the murder plot.
