Marine Corps Pfc. Stephan T. Mohammed, son of Monique and Khayyam Mohammed of South Berwick. He is a 2006 graduate of Marshwood High School in South Berwick and a 2010 graduate of Massachusetts College of Art, Boston.

Marine Corps Pvt. Bryan A. Gagnon, son of Armand and stepson of Andrea Gagnon of Sanford, and son of Christine and stepson of Phillip Hubert Jr. of Lebanon.

Marine Corps Pvt. Zachary J. Beaudoin, son of Laura and Peter Beaudoin of Scarborough.

Army Reserve Pfc. Benjamin S. Wittman is the son of Dyanna Wittman of Windham and Elmer Wittman of Chester, N.H., and is a 2008 graduate of Windham High School.

Army Reserve Pfc. Rachel A. Mazerolle is the daughter of Ann Thompson and Allen Mazerolle and granddaughter of Nelson Thompson, all of Falmouth. She is a 2010 graduate of Falmouth High School.

Marine Corps Pvt. Conner R. Safford, son of Heidi Marcotte of Bath and Gerald Safford of Bowdoinham, has graduated from the Marine Aviation Supply Specialist Course with Marine Aviation Training Support Squadron One, Marine Aviation Support Training Support Group 21, Meridian, Miss.

Army National Guard Pvt. Jeffrey N. Taylor has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Scott Taylor of New Gloucester and Cindy O’Brien of Windham and is a 2011 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles J. Rothbacher has graduated from the Navy’s Nuclear Power School at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, S.C. He is the son of Catherine Reed of Bowdoinham and is a 2009 graduate of Mount Ararat High School, Topsham.

Lance Cpl. Mark A. Aceto was recently promoted to his present rank during a formation at Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group aboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Fort Story, Va. He is a Buxton native and a 2010 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School. Standish.
