Air Force Airmen Brittany S. Rancourt and Jeremy A. Dwyer graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.Rancourt is a daughter of Marc Geaumont of Gorham and Victoria Gilman of Old Orchard Beach and is a 2010 graduate of Catherine McAuley High School, Portland. Dwyer is the former ward of Dot Gauthier and nephew of Norris Dwyer, both of Bowdoin. He is a 2012 graduate of Mount Ararat High School, Topsham.
The Southern Maine Squadron of the Sampson Air Force Base Veterans Association meets at noon June 13 at The Chickadee, 1472 Lisbon St., Lewiston. This is an informal get-together of veterans who completed basic training at Sampson AFB and their guests. All veterans are welcome.
